How much does a car from a US auction to Poti cost?
The total is the lot, the auction fees and the licensed partners' tariff lines: ocean freight from $800 per car (Savannah, 4 cars per container), purchase and handling from $50 to $150 per car by your monthly volume, $100 for container loading and documents, $35 per payment transfer to the auction and THC in Poti, plus the auto-hauler to the port at market carrier prices, from dispatch data for May–July 2026. The calculator above adds them for your car: at a typical distance until you choose the yard, then for that yard and port.
Can I bid at Copart and IAAI without my own dealer license?
Yes. Auction access opens about 2 business days after your paperwork with the auction partner is signed. A licensed auction partner of Y7 Group provides it under your direct agreement with it; the terms of that account are set in that agreement.
4 or 3 cars per container: what is the difference?
Your car shares a 40-foot container with three others (a quarter of the container) or with two (a third, for pickups and large SUVs). Four per container is cheaper per car, for example $900 against $1,200 from New Jersey.
What does the total to Poti include, and what is paid in Georgia?
The total to Poti includes the lot, the auction fees, purchase and handling (the auction account in your company's name, bidding, paying the lot, release documents), the payment transfer, container loading and documents, the auto-hauler to the port, the partner forwarders' ocean freight and THC in Poti. Port and storage in Poti, about $100–$150, are paid in Georgia; customs is handled by your customs broker.
How are my clients protected?
Your client list and volumes are not shared. If you want an NDA, tick it in the request form: a mutual NDA with Y7 Consulting Inc, signed online when the online version is available, otherwise sent by e-mail by the coordinator, before we discuss terms. The agreements with the licensed partners are direct, between you and each of them.
Can the price change after I buy a car?
No. A tariff change applies to cars bought after it; a car already bought keeps its rate. Only the US inland leg moves with the car-hauler market, and the calculator shows its range.
How long from the auction to the US port?
A carrier is typically assigned in 1–2 days, and pickup is typically 1–3 days after the auction's release slot; the trip itself depends on the distance. Y7 Logistics books carriers from a network of 900+.
Who carries the car in the US, and who is liable?
A licensed motor carrier, with its own cargo insurance. Y7 Logistics is a licensed and bonded FMCSA broker (MC #1741537), not a carrier: it checks each carrier's FMCSA authority and certificate of insurance before booking.
I am in Azerbaijan, Armenia or Kazakhstan. Does this work for me?
Yes. The destination port is Poti for all of them. Y7's part ends at the port of Poti; the transit to your country and the customs clearance there are handled by your customs broker and forwarder under your country's rules, and are not part of this tariff. The country notes above describe each route.
What changed in Georgia on 2 April 2026?
The excise on passenger cars moved to two brackets by the car's age, with separate rules for hybrids, electric cars and right-hand drive. The rates and the amount for your car come from the Revenue Service calculator; ask your customs broker before you bid.

Can I clear the car in Azerbaijan, Armenia or Kazakhstan instead of Georgia?
Yes. Instead of clearing in Georgia, the car leaves Poti under Georgian transit and is cleared at the destination by your customs broker under that country's rules: by road or rail to Baku or Yerevan, or across the Caspian to Aktau. Y7's part ends at the port of Poti either way.
Salvage, rebuilt or clean title: what do I need to know?
A clean title is a normal registration document; salvage means an insurer wrote the car off; rebuilt means a salvage car was repaired and re-inspected in the US. The auction partner needs the title type on the bill of sale, and the title travels with the car. How Georgia treats each type: ask your customs broker.
