- Lower total cost (no carrier payment processing)
- Dealer controls BOL inspection at door
- Requires dock staff or pickup coordinator
- Best for dealers with established receiving operations
- Weekly Y7 invoice covers dispatch fees only
Предоплата через Y7
Дилер пополняет баланс Y7. Y7 платит перевозчикам. Недельная сверка по балансу.
- Zero carrier payment hassle
- Y7 handles BOL disputes and edge cases
- Single weekly invoice with reconciliation
- Best for dealers prioritizing operational simplicity
- Balance top-up via ACH or check
- Dispatch fee bundled in weekly invoice
Оба варианта включают полный функционал отдела диспатчинга. Способ оплаты не меняет уровень сервиса.

When a Carrier Flakes — Here's What You Get
Auto transport has failure modes. Here's our recovery playbook. We don't hide this — this is what makes us a real dispatch department, not a quote-aggregator.
Carrier no-show at pickup
Redispatch within 24h. You're not charged for the original booking. Incident logged for carrier rating. You get a Telegram alert before the dock operations notice anything wrong.
Delivery delay beyond ETA
Real-time status in portal + proactive Telegram alert. We contact the driver, you don't. Revised ETA communicated immediately to your sales team if customer delivery is affected.
Damage documented at delivery
We pull BOL photos and condition reports from our archive. File claim with carrier insurance within 24 hours. Track resolution. You don't chase the paperwork.
Wrong vehicle picked up
Driver VIN verification at yard prevents most cases. If it happens, redispatch at no additional cost. One confirmed pickup per booking guaranteed.
Carrier payment dispute (COD model)
We mediate. We know the carriers. Most disputes resolved same-day via our existing relationship with the carrier.
Lost BOL / missing documentation
Our archive is the backup. Every document is photographed and stored within 24 hours of delivery. We regenerate what you need.
Dealerships We Run Dispatch For
Independent used-car dealers
5-30 vehicles/month from auctions, local trades, wholesale buys. Our core segment.
Franchise dealers
New-vehicle relocation between stores, trade-ins to wholesale, off-lease returns to auction. Multi-location coordination.
Exporter-dealers
Buy US → ship overseas. Y7 inland leg + DaytonaCargo ocean freight via sister company. End-to-end through one account team.
Rebuilders
Salvage-title focused operations. Copart/IAA pickups with winch-loading expertise. We know the yards that ship salvage clean.
Auction-only dealers
Wholesale operations moving inventory between regional auctions. Multi-stop routing for maximum carrier efficiency.
Y7 vs Internal Dispatcher vs Generic Broker
The real comparison for a dealer deciding between options
| Feature | Internal Dispatcher | Generic Broker | Y7 Dispatch Department |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upfront cost | $55-75k salary + $15-20k benefits + software + training | $0 — quote per move | $0 — flat dispatch fee per vehicle |
| Carrier network | Whatever relationships that person builds | Their own network | Central Dispatch (100+ vetted carriers) + direct relationships |
| Scalability | Fixed cost even in slow months. One vacation risks operations. | Call each time, no relationship continuity | Pay per vehicle. Scale up or down without hiring/firing. |
| BOL documentation | Manual — whatever system they set up | Their system, not yours | Portal archive + DMS-ready exports |
| Claims handling | Your dispatcher chases carrier insurance | Often hands off to you | We coordinate from archive + carrier relationship |
| Multi-language support | Depends on hire | Rare | EN / RU / PL / UA on team |
| Weekly reporting | Set up yourself | Usually not offered | Automatic — Friday summary, monthly report, DMS export |
Dealer FAQ
How is this different from hiring an internal dispatcher?
An internal dispatcher is a fixed ~$90k/year cost regardless of volume. You also carry software licensing, training, and vacation coverage risk. Y7 charges a flat dispatch fee per vehicle — scales with your actual volume, zero fixed cost, zero staffing risk. The capabilities are the same: carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, gate pass coordination, BOL documentation, claims handling.
What's the dispatch fee?
Flat per-vehicle fee based on your typical lane mix. Request a dealer account review and we'll give you the number up front — no tiered games, no surprise surcharges. Same fee whether you do 5 vehicles a month or 50.
Do I pay carriers directly or does Y7?
Your choice. Option 1: pay carriers directly at delivery (COD) — you control BOL inspection at door, Y7 bills dispatch fee only. Option 2: prepay Y7, we pay carriers, weekly reconciliation against balance. Both cost the same in total.
What's the minimum volume?
None. We onboard single-vehicle pickups and scale with you. The flat fee model makes small-volume dealers economically viable from day one.
How fast can you dispatch a carrier?
Depends on lane. Popular corridors (major metros) typically dispatch within 24-48 hours. Rural yards or unusual pairings may take 3-5 days. We tell you the realistic timeline when we quote, not after you commit. Post to Central Dispatch within 30 minutes of your request.
Can I have multiple users on one dealer account?
Yes. Invite finance, dispatch, and sales managers with role-based permissions. Finance sees billing. Dispatch sees active loads. Sales sees delivery ETAs for customer updates.
What about Copart gate passes and IAA buyer letters?
Included in every auction pickup. We handle Copart gate pass PIN coordination via their Transporter App, and IAA buyer letter setup per authorized carrier. Part of the dispatch department service.
Do you integrate with my DMS?
Not via direct API yet. We provide exportable monthly summaries in CSV and PDF that reconcile cleanly with most DMS platforms. Full API integration is on our roadmap.
What happens if a carrier damages my vehicle?
Carrier cargo insurance applies (Y7 is a broker, we don't carry cargo insurance — that's the carrier's role per FMCSA structure). We coordinate the claim: pull BOL photos and condition reports from our archive, file with carrier insurance within 24 hours, track resolution. You don't chase paperwork — that's the dispatch department doing its job.
Do you handle dealer-to-dealer trades?
Yes. Dealer trades are a core use case. Often simpler than auction pickups because both ends have dock staff and predictable hours. One coordinated move, one BOL, one invoice line.
Do you handle customer deliveries from dealer lots?
Yes. Customer remote purchase → driveway delivery. Full BOL documentation, insured carrier, status updates throughout. Common for franchise dealers and online-first operations.
Is there a long-term contract?
Simple Broker-Shipper Agreement. Pay-as-you-go with weekly billing. No long-term lockup, no minimum spend, no cancellation fees. Onboard for one trade, scale to full volume, or dial back — all the same account.
Who do I talk to when something urgent comes up?
Existing customers reach dispatch via portal or Telegram bot (@y7dispatch_bot) 24/7 for active shipment matters. For new inquiries and account setup, [email protected] responds within one business day.
